SIL number two!

I've gained to sister-in-law's in less than a week! (And I couldn't be happier!)

We knew it was coming. It was just a matter of when, where and what time. They were trying to keep us all on our toes, I think. Life took some crazy turns for them in the past week (pregnancy, pregnancy loss) and I guess they decided to pick up the pace.

I got a call on Friday afternoon, asking where I was and how long it would take me to get home. (I knew what was up!) I asked no questions and answered theirs. Met them within 30 minutes of their first call and we went and got them hitched! I could write all day about how hot it was in the minister's home, how we were all sweating, giggling and about to pass out. It was seriously cooler OUTSIDE!

It was so sweet. In the end, I don't even think they needed me there to witness, but I was very honored to be there with them (the babygirl too, in all her glory).

They still plan to have their small, casual ceremony and party on July 8th. We're wedding crazy around here these days!

Thank you, you two, for allowing me to share in your joy on your special day.

Flower girl success!

She did it!

Around 4:00 p.m. I started getting nervous. She was getting tired and antsy. It was picture time and then another 2 hours until the wedding. But, somehow she turned out doing great! She even took some pictures. The ring bearer would have nothing to do with any professional pictures.

The weather actually worked with us. It was ten degrees cooler that Saturday than the two previous weekends. The breeze was actually blowing. It was a gorgeous day. Perfect for an outdoor wedding.

Is it time yet, Mommy?

6:00 p.m. came and I hoped for the best. I gave hubby a little yellow ball to stash in his pocket, just in case she needed some motivation. The bridal party entered and here they came. She paused for a minute and turned back to my mom, then began to chase the ring bearer. She passed him smiling all the way and jumped right into her Daddy's arms. It was priceless.

The reception was so much fun. Babygirl danced and put on a show before passing out.

Place your bets...

Will she walk?

The madness has begun

Brother-in-law is getting married on Saturday.

The wedding is outside, at 6:00 p.m., in the Florida heat. We are surely going to sweat overselves ugly as I'm sure it will be the usual 98 degrees.

I am still searching for babygirl a plain white pair of sandals to go with her flower girl dress and hair accessories.

And one last thing, could someone mail my MIL a chill pill or two?

I have a monkey on my hands...

Babygirl has hit the climbing stage. She climbs and climbs, gets in trouble - over and over.

Lucky Lum wonders how she got a black eye. Climbing. She finds it funny to climb up on back of her toddler chair to flip the light switch on and off, on and off. Last week she fell. She got a small cut under her eye (which blackened), and nice knot on her head. And she still doesn't care. She still wants to do it again.

She also likes the top of the coffee table.

It's a never ending battle.

I find it exhausting.
