She's getting a mommy?

Babygirl is starting to catch on to this baby talk. Just a little bit at a time. I think she's really just tired of everyone asking her if she's getting a baby brother or a baby sister.

Week 8: "I'm getting a brodder"
Week 9 and 10: "I'm getting a sister:
Week 11: "I'm getting a brodder and a sister" (Oh no sweetheart, one or the other!)
Week 12 and 13: "No, I'm getting me a mommy!"

Oh goodness.

I don't think I heard you?

Can you believe that someone would tap me on the shoulder at a *Kenny Chesney concert and tell me they can't see. Hahahahahahaha. Yeah....okay - like that's really going to happen!

Long week alone

Hubby had to go out of town to work this week. This is the first time he's ever had to do an out of town job and it stinks! I hate it. I miss him.

I can run things around here alone, but that doesn't mean I want to. I hate the afternoon's when babygirl starts looking at the door waiting for him to walk through it. I hate watching TV at night alone. I get bored! Not to mention there is a 30,000 acre wildfire burning an hour to our north and the smoke has been so horrible that we can't even play outside.

Thank goodness, he finished a day early and I think he's coming back tonight instead of tomorrow. And he should have a day off for us to do something fun!!

The 11th week

We're moving right along.

I finally got to see my doctor yesterday. I know I've probably mentioned how much I like that man. He's just great. We had a regular appointment that went well. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't anxious when he got that doppler out and even more anxious when I couldn't quite hear that little heartbeat because it was beating in sync with mine (aww). He chased the baby around for as long as I wanted him to until I felt comfortable that I could hear it even though he could hear it just fine. And it appears this baby hates the doppler just as much as babygirl did. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised.

So, yea, everything is great and that's all I really needed to hear. We get to find out the sex on May 23rd and that we're extremely excited about of course.

I'm feeling good. I'm still sick every few days, but hey - I'll take it. After weeks of it, it just starts to feel normal in a way. I'll just never be one of those pregnant women who can eat anything at anytime and keep it down all the time. It's okay.

- Cheer -

I know I've mentioned before that my middle sister is a competitive cheerleader for the University of *GA. Yesterday, I finally had the chance to go watch her compete. It was such a fun time. Cheerleading has changed so much in the past 7 years when it was a part of my world!

I love that she has the opportunity to be a part of something like this. She's having the time of her life!

Fun!

Whoa, belly...

Ten weeks today. One fourth of the way there.

On Friday, I heard over and over. You don't look pregnant at all.

On Monday, I heard "How about that belly" - Thanks hubby. At that moment, I looked down and my mouth dropped. There was a pooch there. My pants won't last much longer!!!
