I can't bake cookies, but my peanut butter bars are rockin!
I don't know what it is. My cookies never turn out and I'm starting to acquire a complex. (TKW can relate). I try over and over again, in hopes that ONE day I'll make perfect cookies. I try different recipe's, everything. My cookies are just crap.
Today I attempted the fine Paula Deen's brown sugar cookies. Disaster again. I don't know why I expected them to be perfect. These were the worst ever in my cooking history. She must have forgotten something...yeah right.
However, I'm pleased to say that Ms. Deen's peanut butter bars are just to die for. Yummy.
So until I can learn how to bake cookies I'll be eating my peanut butter bars and praying the babygirl never signs up for her mommy to bring cookies to her classroom parties.

LOL I totally hear you! I made some cookies a couple of weeks ago that tasted more like pizza dough than anything else.
I think I'm going to try again today or tomorrow with the Neiman Marcus cookie recipe that a neighbor gave me. Supposedly they are supposed to be the best ever. I'll let you know how they turn out...if it's well I will send you the recipe :)
While I'm waiting to make mine will you send me over a peanutbutter bar?!
