We're back

I know it's always said over and over again after a trip but man I am glad to be home. Seriously, it has never felt better. I'm exhausted!

It was a long, hard trip. Emotionally draining. The service was beautiful, but very hard. It's always hard to let go of the special ones like Uncle Wayne.

Despite the sad nature of our trip we were also able to sneak in a little fun and I think Uncle Wayne would have loved that.

Away for a few days

We lost him on Tuesday night. It's been a hard few days and we haven't even gotten to the rest of the family yet. We're heading out tonight.

I've not been feeling great, so this car ride really should be fun. Miss Priss has been stretched out in there causing me some pain.

We'll be back sometime on Tuesday.

Sadness

We may lose a valuable member of our family from the hubby's side this week. My heart is breaking. I just can't get this sweet picture out of my head. He's such a good man.

Rain, Rain!

And we need every bit of it.



It rained all day Saturday. All day. Good, hard, steady rain. Babygirl had a blast in the evening getting re-aquainted with the puddles. Since then, its rained every afternoon. It's just what Florida needs. The fires have been unbelievable and no rain for months wasn't helping. The smoke filled skies were getting a little depressing.

We did get in a little fun at the pool this morning before the afternoon showers!
