More about Avery Kate

She's perfect, as I said before! She was moving, grooving and putting on a show. She sucked her thumb, waved (sort of), kicked, punched and showed us that she's going to be a little drama queen already. She had her hand placed up on her forehead like she was just working hard in there. I can see how I feel her everyday now. I've even already felt her kick from the outside.

She weighs about 7 oz and is measuring right on target for her dates.

We came out with about 3 sheets of pictures because she was so photogenic. I'll try to have mom scan a few the next time I'm there.

Babygirl is thrilled about Baby Sister!

It was a busy weekend!

Phew. I'm still tired!

Saturday we went to hubby's company picnic. I love this thing. Babygirl has so much fun. There's lots of food, ice cream, cotton candy, face painting, bouncy houses and slides, games, rock climbing and her favorite pony rides!

Pony ride!

and 3...

These bouncy slides were a close second.

She said her colors all the way up!
Going up

and wasn't scared of coming down..
Coming down

After eating and about 4 rides on those ponies and lots of sliding the hubby and I had to bolt out of there to get home to get dressed for a wedding. Baby girl got to stay there with BIL and SIL and she loved that.

The wedding was great. It was outdoors and beautiful. I was itching for some flip flops and my camera! I've now found a great photo spot. Hopefully, I can get baby girl down there soon for some practice. I'm excited about the possiblities!

On Sunday, hubby was up early to start working on our new sidewalk. That took all day because of set backs. Of course, projects like that always have set backs. Babygirl and I took off to the acquatic center for the afternoon to get out of the way. We had a blast and when we got home the sidewalk was finished! By the time it was set enough for her feet prints she had no interest - that figures. Oh well.

Last but not least the 16 week 3 day belly shot with my cute little partner.
16 weeks 3 days

Still no progress on names. Actually, we're back at square one and our favorite from last week has gone right out the window and of course we have a new favorite for the time being. 8 days and counting and we'll be getting serious.

The Name Game

Okay. Give me what you've got. We're talking girls because we've got a boy name. Which is reason #101 why I think his baby is a girl.

We just can't seem to agree like we did on babygirl's name. Why is that??? Is it always harder to name the second child?

I have a few favorites but hubby only has agreed he likes one of them so far.

So throw your suggestions. Something cute to go with big sissy, Delaney.

Week 14 and my silly girl

I think its safe to say my belly did some growing. Today every member of my family touched my belly at some point and made cute comments. I guess its just now starting to show.

14 weeks 2 days.

Babygirl's new favorite thing is to show her belly, too. I think its CUTE!
Showing her belly, too!

Hubby and I celebrated our 5th anniversary on Friday. It was great. We had a nice, quiet dinner at my favorite restuarant. It was just fun. And I was actually able to surprise him with his gift! I still have to order mine!

About 17 days or so and counting until we find out the sex of little bit. Babygirl says its a sister this week. Guesses?

On to Week 14!

Week 13 was the pits!

Babygirl and I had had a big fall over the weekend. Talk about freaking me out. I'm clumsy by nature but it had been so long since I've done that. I've never fallen carrying the girl, much less falling carrying the girl and being pregnant. Geez. My name should have been Grace. Not really - the entire thing wasn't our fault but still rather embarrassing. We were out to dinner in a - nicer than I like to take my two year old - restaurant. They had some carpet malfunctions and babygirl, myself, and little bit brought it to their attention. At any rate, we're all okay. I went in on Monday to check little bit's heartbeat and all was well and they better be glad.

Then leaving dinner my SIL decides to try to make a U-turn where she wasn't supposed to. Yep - ending in crash. It wasn't a hard impact thank goodness. But, we were still stranded for 2 hours in the parking lot of Mickey D's. I've never been so ready to get home in all of my life. Thank goodness there was a Starbuck's across the street and that I have a hubby willing to cross said street just for me.

Then, on top of that, there was drama within hubby's family all because of something that happened at mother-in-law's restaurant that 3 family members work at. I've got about this much patience for drama and even less for drama while I'm pregnant. Enough already, grow up and act like adults. How hard is that?

I'm feeling much better. I'm happy to report that I've not been that pukey this week. Maybe it's on the down fall.

I think this is the first belly shot I've showed here... This was 13 weeks 2 days the afternoon of our fall. Excuse my silly girl and her silly faces, but she wanted to show her belly too!
