{7 months}

With every month that passes, it seems impossible that she is already a month older. But, she is. I wish there was some sort of pause button!

We have a top tooth now - an eye tooth. That makes three. There's something about this girl - she doesn't like to do things by the book! But, that's okay.

She loves drinking from her cup. It's like a treat for her. She holds it all by herself, too.

This past week she's taken to crawling. She's been scooting for weeks but now she can get where she wants to go.

She is still 100% mommy's girl. If I'm in the room she has to be touching me or she's not happy. Hubby says he thinks she'll always be my girl. I think he may be right. This girl loves her mama. :)

She naps in her crib, but sleeps in my room. I think we'll transition at night soon, but right now I still like her close. And I'm really not ready to deal with the possibility of her waking up her sister if she happens to get up.

{sweet dreams}

She took her first road trip to visit family in South Florida. She did awesome. My children seem to have no problem with car rides and that is a blessing! She loves to sleep in the car - but let that car STOP... and that is that.

She loves water - baths, swimming, putting her feet in a puddle, etc. bring a huge smile to her face.

She can talk with her eyes. I swear they speak for her.

{the month of May}

This month has been completely and utterly exhausting thus far.

It's always a crazy month as its the start of our summer.

We started with babygirl's dance recital (her very first)! I posted about it below but what a crazy and fun day it was. It's insane to me that we had to be downtown at 8am for dress rehearsal, but such is life. She had a minor melt down when her class of 30 was crammed into a little dressing room the size of my bathroom. (And my bathroom isn't big!). After a lot of sweat (it was HOT in there, a lot of tears, and a sweet little girl willing to share her crayons - I escaped. She danced like a pro thru rehearsals. No stage fright from this girl. After rehearsals (at noon) we were off to lunch and her hair appointment before we had to turn around and be back downtown by 6. Let just say there was no time for resting.

Here are a few more pictures from that day.

She said she wanted her hair "crazy".

The next day, hubby and I celebrated six years of marriage.

{6 happy years}

He still makes me laugh so hard I cry. He makes me smile, everday. He's an amazing father. He loves me even when I annoy him (and that is alot). He supports me if I'm right or wrong.

Those are just a few things that make him so awesome!

Baby sissy is approaching seven months - fast. It seems impossible, but it isn't!

I know I say this all the time but she is such a joy. She is happy [almost] all the time! She army crawls, she scoots, she lifts up on all fours - but she doesn't crawl. She's got the most adorable smile and even sweeter laugh. She still loves her mommy more than anyone. She's eating solids 3 times a day and holding her cup like a big girl. She doesn't like to feel like she's going to miss anything so she'll fight sleep if there is a crowd. She "talks" so sweet and thinks her big sister is great.

Isn't she a sweet thing?

Little Dancer

I have a lot of updating to do, but not much time right now. Imagine that. I just had to share this little video of babygirl at her first dance recital.
