Nothing better than free Starbuck's...

... after a trip to Chuckie Cheese, the mall, (and Target), with my best friend, her twin 3 year olds and babygirl.

She just gave us our drinks. Something about a promotion, blah blah. Like Starbuck's needs to promote their drinks. Everyone I know that has tasted the smallest bit of one is addicted. But, I appreciated it anyway!

Long Lost Update

We are here. I just haven't had too much to talk about lately. Just in that kind of mood. It hits me from time to time.

Things have been busy as well. The babygirl is a busy body and keeping me very busy. Even though, its so very HOT we've been spending a lot of time outside. Babygirl has a new found love of playing in the waterhose even though she hates the sprinkler.

MIL has been sick again. We forced her, last Sunday, to go the the ER again. She's had numerous issues in the past year. Most of which come from diverticulitus, the others are still unknown. At any rate, she just had surgery again on Friday. Her office, which I used to work in, is suffering. So, I've jumped in to help and have been doing some work from home. Which really isn't that bad.

Speaking of the babygirl. She is 19 months old today and a now big 26 + lbs. Can you believe that my itty bitty baby that everyone was so worried about (pulease!) is now 26lbs?!? Wow! She's doing great doing everything that 19 month olds do and talking up a storm. Her vocabulary is impressive. And all the jabber in between is just funny! Once she puts it all together, I'm in some trouble because the girl likes to talk! I'm training her to say "Tar-get." Her daddy is just thrilled.

Movie nights

It had been ages since the hubby and I had been to a movie together. I really can't even remember the last time. I'm pretty sure I was pregnant with the babygirl and that's been quite some time now.

So, we were given tickets for the premiere viewing of Talladega Nights. MIL offered to watch babygirl, and we took the opportunity.

The movie .... Hilarious.
The wait to get in ... Ridiculous.
The popcorn (the gallon worth) ... Way to salty.
The guy that wouldn't move down one seat so our entire party could sit together ... Aggravating.

I have to say, too, that I've never been frisked to get into a movie. A metal detector, purse search - the whole nine yards. (Hence the long wait to get in). I understand they don't want your camera, camera phone or video camera in the theatre, but really - the thing didn't even pick up a pocket knife in our friend's pocket. Whatever.

To the aggravating guy - What did one more seat matter in how you saw that movie? Get a life.

Only Wednesday?

Good grief!
