Three Girls and a Guy: January 2008

I am so over it!

I have been through 3 brand new lap tops in two weeks and have had more trips to *Best* (yea okay..) Buy than I care to even count.

Babygirl has been there so many times in two weeks that she's figured out that they sell washing machines and they are right next to the bathrooms. Her Grandma needs a new one and she told her last night, she could find them at the computer store. Yep. That should tell you how many times we've been there.

What kills me the most is that you can walk into a store of that nature and yet it seems like no one working there has a clue what they are talking about. I'm seriously over it! I just need a computer that won't give me a blue screen as soon as I get it home. I'm sooo frustrated.

Babygirl turns three!

It seems like yesterday, that the doctor said to me, "your heart is fine, your just pregnant." Today marks three years since your birth and you bring us so much joy. I will never foget that moment you were in my arms for the very first time. You were not only an answer to prayers, you are so much more.

You were a tiny, little princess.

I can not express how much joy you bring into our lives. You light up whatever room your in, always full of smiles. Even on your most stubborn days - you make me smile. You amaze me everyday with your smart and witty attitude. I sometimes call you "my little big girl" because of the things you do and say. You make us so proud. Happy 3rd Birthday, Babygirl. We love you!

Black Eye Beauty

Babygirl got her first black eye. Just in time for her birthday. Poor thing. This picture was the morning after. It does not give it much justice today - but she's hiding from the camera.

I'm back-

Shortly after posting my year in review post my computer took a nose dive and crash landed. I don't even know what happened. But, that's that and I'm back with my brand new laptop! Things have been so crazy since it happened that I don't even know where to begin to start catching up. But, I'll give it a shot!

I'll start with babygirl.

She's been a hand full of spunk these days.

I fear age 3 is worse than age 2. Is it?

I told her one day last week - not even thinking what I was saying - "That's not funny, D" and she replied, "I'm not laughing, mommy" in her best 'she thinks she's a grown up' voice.

I can't believe in just one week she will be a three year old.

Santa gave her a bike for Christmas. It's been so busy that we haven't had much time to work with her, but it didn't take long and she was gone. She's fast! This will be a great way for me to tone up the mommy legs!

On to Baby Sissy.

Not sure if I ever mentioned her 2 month stats - 8lbs 14oz and 23 and 3/4 inches - 10th and 75th percentiles. Long and skinny. Following right along the path of her big sister.

She's such a happy baby! Sweet just isn't the half of it.

She's smiling and cooing so much now and even has her daddy convinced she likes him now.
He had this complex about her crying when he held her. He just forgot what it was like to have a newborn again. She really doesn't cry much at all.

and last but not least.. guess who is rolling over - belly to back. Yea, my baby. Made me want to melt down into tears. I don't remember babygirl rolling so soon and I haven't gone to look it up yet. Why does the second child feel the need to grow and change so much faster than the first?

2007 in Review

January- Babygirl turned two. We celebrated her party at the park with all of our family and friends.

February- We took her on a birthday trip to Disney World.

Minnie Mouse was her favorite!

We had a wonderful trip!

February 22, 2007 - we found out this...

I was pregnant and due on Halloween! We were so happy.

March- We saw what we were praying for - the baby's heartbeat at my 6 week scan. A little peanut!

We took our first trip to the beach for the year. (Yes, in March! It's Florida!)

April- We hit 12 weeks. We began counting down for our gender scan!

We played alot outside - as much as a pregnant mommy could handle. :)

May- We celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary and Bradly celebrated his 27th birthday. We were at 14 weeks now and Babygirl started to really understand mommy's growing belly - as much as a two year old can!

At the end of the month we found out that "IT'S A GIRL!"

June- It was a hot month. Babygirl was happy to see the rain.

My belly really started to pop.

We lost an uncle, on Bradley's side, to a very short battle with cancer.
But, we were able to have some fun in the midst of the sadness. It's what Uncle Wayne would have wanted, anyway.

July- Enjoying summer! Babygirl thought her second home was the beach!

Randi Jean and Krist welcomed Conner. I had the opportunity to be there and photograph his delivery. What an amazing day.

I was even more anxious for our new baby girl now.
We painted the nursery... PINK!

August - We hit 28 weeks and counting... whoa belly!

Babygirl was really silly all the time!

Septemeber- A long month - Babygirl battled a UTI for two weeks or more. Many cultures and 2 antibiotics later she felt better. She also became potty trianed!

We celebrated our upcoming arrival with our closest family and friends. It wouldn't be long now...

Everyone made sure babygirl felt really special, too!

October- The month of "baby sissy's" due date. We knew she'd be here this month! Yay!

Babygirl and I had a lot of fun preparing for baby sissy and spending some quality time together.

We had a weight check at 36 weeks. She weighed approx. 6lbs. We all thought she looked just like her big sister!

Babygirl finds a new love for mommy's lipstick. There were some pretty big messes as a result. Mom's of girls: Hide the lipstick and bring out the lip gloss... clear lip gloss!
