Goodbye long hair!

It's gone. I chopped it off this morning. I'm really loving it, too!

(Now lets hope hubby thinks the same!) I've had short hair before, it was just a really long time ago.

It feels so summertime!

Whew. That was a rough few days.

Being sick (especially when its the babygirl) is really the pits.

Choo-choo

Seems like I found my way to Mrs. Fun's "feel like crap" train. Babygirl has too.

It's miserable around here. I feel horrible. She feels even worse, I'm sure. It's pitiful.

She's 15 months old today. I can't believe how fast she's grown. At 2:30 a.m. this morning, after about 6 walks to her room, to check on her with her horrible croupy cough. Even though she was sleeping fine despite all the coughing, I scooped her up and went to the couch. We slept the rest of the night there together. Just because.

Happy 15 months to Mrs. Fun and T, too.

A conversation with my neighbor

Since the babygirl loves to play outside, specifically in everyone's driveway but ours, I have frequent talks with everyone in the neighborhood. Today it went kind of like this...

Him: "I can't wait to go to church tonight." "I'll get to see my girlfriend."

Me: "That's good."

Him: "Yeah, but I think she's cheating on me, though."

Me: "Oh really? Why?"

Him: "I just have that feeling. You know what I mean?"

The hubby made my day!

He just came home with this for me.....
Fresh on the shelf today. I can't wait to listen to it on the way to dinner tonight.

I also have to mention that my avid Florida Gator fan of a hubby even stopped at the store on his was home from work last night at 11:00 p.m. for milk and diet coke while he knew that freakin basketball game was on. Then he even let me finish watching my show. Who care if it was just because it was during halftime?

When did standing on your porch on a semi busy street become cool? I really think he thought he looked good, too.
